Dr. Julie L Preston:  Chiropractor

Dr. Julie L Preston D.C, Lic. Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Webster Certified Toronto Chiropractor, Med. Acupuncture, Webster Technique Certified Dr. Julie L Preston holds Honours Bachelor degrees in Kinesiology and Human Biology from York University and National University of Health Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic at the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL. Julie has completed the McMaster University Program for Medical Acupuncture, is certified in kinesiotaping, Webster’s technique for pregnant patients and Compression hosier fitter. She also provides Cold Laser Therapy and acupuncture treatments. She is an active member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).These diverse skills allow for an integrated and tailored approach to each patient and condition, from the very young to the young at heart. She believes strongly in patient education and empowering patients to be proactive about their health. Her education allows her to effectively diagnose and treat any muscle, ligament, or joint injury and pain, along with providing rehabilitation. Using a functional approach, Julie aims to find and treat the root cause of pain, with the goal of improving health and lifestyle. In her spare time, Julie enjoys an active lifestyle with her family, travelling and running after her child.

Dr. Wendy Mok, HBSc, DC: Chiropractor

Dr. Wendy Mok graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic with Clinic Honors. She also holds a degree in Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. She is a certified clinical acupuncture provider and is trained in soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release & guasha.

Dr. Mok is passionate to provide excellent care for a diverse group of patients of all ages. She uses a collaborative, patient-oriented, evidence-based approach to her patient assessments. She firmly believes that the key to effective treatment is dependent on good doctor-patient communication. She provides customized treatment plans for each individual patient to ensure the treatments are tailored to her patients’ needs. She also works collaboratively with other health professionals to determine appropriate treatment strategies.

Elizabeth Langfried, BScPT, PT (Registered Physiotherapist)

Elizabeth Langfried graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Lyceum Northwestern University in the Philippines. She continued her studies in Ryerson University, Toronto in 2010. Elizabeth is a licensed Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Additionally, she is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Elizabeth has worked in busy private clinics and Long Term Care facilities in Toronto, and Acute Care Hospitals overseas. She continues to pursue advanced training in several areas to further strengthen her clinical skills.

Elizabeth provides treatments that emphasize education, exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, splinting, bracing and ergonomics. She believes that establishing good communication with her clients is the key to helping them achieve successful outcomes.

Era Jalandoni – Physiotherapist

Era graduated from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995.  She has extensive clinical experience in various physiotherapy settings.  This includes school and hospital settings, private clinics with special interest in management of acute injuries from sports injuries to motor vehicular accidents, chronic musculoskeletal impairments as well as work related injuries.

Era continues to develop her skills through post-graduate courses.  She incorporates soft tissue techniques, joint mobilization, modalities, exercises and patient’s education in her treatment with goal of improving quality of life and regaining independence for her patients.

Corazon Sabado: MassageTherapist

Cora graduated from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy, completed studies in Physiotherapy bridging Courses at Ryerson University and is currently working on her Physiotherapy National Examination.

Cora received her Massage Therapy Diploma in 2007 and is a registered member of the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario since 2008. Over the past 7 years Cora has been treating patients with Chronic conditions, orthopaedic, soft tissue injuries, sports injuries, pregnancy, HA, whiplash and neuromuscular conditions. Cora uses techniques for relaxation and therapeutic treatment including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, deep tissue release, acupressure, soft tissue and joint mobilization and myofascial release techniques.

Gail Chevalier: Reiki Master

Gail Chevalier has been working in the Holistic Healthcare field for over 4 years. She acquired her Reiki Levels 1 and 2 and has recently become a Reiki Master.  Reiki uses the power of life force energy to treat patients. It is used to alleviate pain and discomfort caused by illness, injury and disease, as well as from the effects of chemotherapy, trauma, stroke, stress and more.  Reiki helps open and align the Chakras to promote healing.

Gail believes in an Allopathic approach to healthcare, coordinating both Eastern and Western Medical practices to create harmony and balance in Mind, Body and Spirit.  She provides Guided Meditation to help alleviate stress, migraines, anxiety and depression. Currently, Gail is continuing her studies with courses in Essential Oils for Healing and the Oil Touch Technique.

In groups (and included in the corporate wellness package), Gail provides classes in the ancient art of Qi Gong.

Gail is also fluent in American Sign Language.
