FAQs

Are Chiropractic adjustments safe?

Chiropractic Adjustments are specific, targeted, focused. Adjustments help reduce nervous system interferences and reconnect the vital communication link between your brain and your body.

What conditions are treated by chiropractic ?

  • neck pain, mid or low back pain
  • other musculo-skeletal conditions, such as shoulder pain or joint pain
  • headaches and migraines
  • hip, knee, ankle and foot pain

How long does this take and how soon will I feel better?

Although you may feel immediate improvement  after just a few treatments a full correction of the Subluxation condition may not take effect until the supporting muscles and ligaments are fully adjusted to the new position of the vertebrae. This varies with each individual person. Just like you go to the dentist twice a year for dental check ups you need to go to the chiropractor for spinal check ups. If you have had any slips falls or traumas you should go for immediate treatments.

What can I expect on my first visit?

The first  thing a chiropractor will do is to ask you about the health complaints about which you are chiefly concerned. The DC will also ask about your family history, dietary habits, other care you may have had (chiropractic, osteopathic, medical, etc.), your job, and other questions designed to help determine the nature of your illness and the best way to go about treating the problem.
